Looking Forward

by Keith Rothra | GOP News |

Now that the primary election is over it is time to look at where we are going as a Republican Party. Some people have a tendency to look backward to determine where they need to go. I am encouraging all Republicans to look forward and work together for a unified party and a victory in November.

Some have told me that their favorite Republican did not win the presidential primary. They even hinted at staying home in November for that reason. This is reverse vision and destructive not only to Republican victory, but to America as we know it. Failure of the Republicans to work together will result in a Democratic Party President who will advocate partial birth abortions, higher taxes, limiting free enterprise, and opposition to our entrepreneurial economy. Our military would be stripped and our foreign policy would be one of apologies and retreats.

Be Heard – Vote!

by Webmaster | GOP News |

If you have not yet voted in the GOP primary, tomorrow is the last chance! On March 4th, you have the chance to let your voice be heard by casting your ballot for the candidate of your choice.

For those who will face an opponent in November, let the party know who you want for the GOP nominee.

For those unopposed in November, your vote will help decide the office holder!

Don’t remain silent, don’t let others speak for you…
Speak up … Be heard … VOTE!

Date & Time
Voting primary date: March 4th (tomorrow)
Times: 7 AM - 7 PM

I have been encouraging people for the past month to not be concerned about the late date of the Texas primary election (March 4th). Many have said that we will be so late that Texas will not matter in this election.

The article by Associated Press journalist Stephen Ohlemacher, posted below, reflects the same sentiments I have been sharing. Ohlemacher very clearly makes the point that Texas will not be insignificant in this primary season, but could very likely be the decision maker on the presidential candidates for both parties. I encourage everyone to read it.
