It’s a new year. Time to put old habits away and look to a refreshing future.
2008 Happy New Year
Every New Year, people make resolutions about what they will do to improve one aspect of their life or another. Recent years have seen the Gregg County Republican Party become more splintered and factionalized, resulting in a decline in influence, size, and participation. This year, I add one more resolution: I resolve to work with you as we reunite the Republican Party.

It’s is time to put aside past factionalism and reunite for victory.

As individuals and as an organization, we grow when we recognize our weaknesses, learn from our mistakes, and strive to overcome all that held us back. Many in the party, myself included, have noticed and commented on the divisions that exist and that weaken the party. Let 2008 be the year that we begin the healing process. This New Year, I call on everyone to join the many who want re-establish the Republican Party of Gregg County.

It’s time for new change… it’s time for new vision… it’s time for unity.

Join with me in reuniting the Republican Party. It is a new year, it is a new day. Vote for me, Keith Rothra, as your County Chairman.
